There is a lot of confusion for people with regards to how strong of a CBD oil/tincture they are buying from different suppliers. Many companies will offer oils at 500mg, 1000mg, 1500mg…and now all the way up to “8,000mg”. This is always a measure of how much TOTAL CBD is in a given bottle of oil or tincture. To further muddy the issue, some companies market this in 15ml, 30ml, 60ml, and even 120ml volumes. What you, the consumer, needs to know or figure out is if that given quantity of CBD in mg is contained in 15ml, 30ml, or 60ml. As an example…if you purchase a 1000mg bottle of oil in 60ml of volume…you are still only getting 1000mg of oil. When you say that 3 or 4 drops isn’t working it’s because this is equivalent in concentration to 500mg of oil in 30ml. It’s still only about 16.6 mg per ml. That company is charging you for more oil but more dilute oil. Often times the consumer pays for what they believe is a greater supply at a better price, but in reality they are paying more for less. This can lead to disappointment in how the product works as it’s perhaps too dilute to help. Always scrutinize the total mg in the total volume of oil. Stay well….
